damien heller-chen (b. 2004, boston, ma, he/him) is an undergraduate at reed college in portland oregon double majoring in studio art and chinese literature. heller-chen is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in traditional craft and what it means to be chinese in contemporary america. he has recently received the reed arts grant experience fellowship (2025) and has also exhibited a solo show, ‘a meditation on labor,’ at the one grand gallery (2025).
